Easter Egg Hunting Fun

I think there were just short of a million kids here, but they let the little ones out first, before the older ones trampled through:) Cody wouldn't stop looking for eggs until he was certain they had all been discovered. I loved seeing them all excited, running around, and having a good time.
She squealed every time she picked up an egg, and always wanted to have one in her hand.

Kayla's on the search

Then she discovered, (with the help of sister) that they could open and reveal hidden treasures!
So curious

Very happy with her eggs...before I could snatch them away, she had them all opened and almost eaten.

Gotta get to the chocolate!
Later, she found the other girls and they all played the evening away....such a nice break for me!

Cody, on the other hand, was still right in the middle of the action....caught him jumping up and down cheering on a friend at the piƱata. He really gets into the fun.

And that is Cody right in the middle after it exploded.

Even more candy! (oh yay!)

Our friends invited so many people to their party, and it was awesome. We grilled hot dogs and everyone brought food. They made homemade root beer as well. The weather was great and it was a really fun Saturday. We missed doing egg hunts with cousins, but are so grateful for our friends and "family" that we have here.
