Day to day adventures

We have been having a lot of fun and enjoying the beautiful spring weather. Here are a few of the things we've done in the past month or so.

First we like to exercise....or just climb the walls and hang like monkeys!

We built a shed!

It was a fun project, and a lot of work. I was really good at reading the directions while Shon worked the hammer and Cody rearranged the boards.

The missionaries stopped by one day and we put them to work too. It was nice having a couple extra hands.

Shon didn't like reading the instructions... he only did it when absolutely necessary, or when I wasn't there.

I had to get my work time in too. Putting the shingles up was not my favorite part, but the whole project was fun and it reminded me of working on things with my dad, growing up, (which is one of my favorite past times!)

BASEBALL ANYONE?

Talk about fun...we got into baseball/tee ball and the kids LOVE it. Cody is actually a pretty good little hitter.

An Evening on the Lake

Yes, we can fit our whole family on the kayak...except poor Annabelle doesn't fit anymore. The kids were great and loved being on the boat. We watched the sun go down and fed the geese/ducks before we headed home. Oh, a beaver swam by us too! That was cool. It hit the water with its tail and that made the kids excited to see the big splash.

All in all, we try to have a good time when we can. We don't see Shon much on the weekdays anymore with his new schedule, but the weekends are great! We'll take what we can:)
