On the Lake Again!

We had a great time yesterday on the lake. It has been in the 90's all week! The kids wanted to jump in the lake soooo bad but we made them wait until the end. Then out of nowhere a rainstorm hit and ended our adventure with ALL of us drenched instead! We saw the clouds rolling in and hurried back, so, don't worry grandma----little Kayla made it into the jeep nice and dry. (but she was the only one that did!)

Emma is Cody's new best friend....he grabs her by the hand each Sunday and takes her to primary. They love playing together.

We found a fun "maze" that went through the lilly pads and other plants. We saw frogs, a turtle, a blue heron, and other birds. It was very relaxing.

Even the storm was cool. We pulled back to the dock just as it hit hard....threw Kayla in and started grabbing the gear. The rain was really warm and we were basically drenched in minutes. What a fun and exciting adventure!
