Catch up from the trip

We sure had a lot of fun on our trip back to Utah and Idaho! We loved seeing the family and enjoying all kinds of fun adventures. These are just a few fun pictures. There were way too many to put them all on, but this gives you a taste.

This is at Little Redfish Lake. It is such a calm and peaceful place to be! We played a lot at big Redfish too. We swam, played in the boat, went on bike rides, ate good food, went hiking, and loved the campfires and good company of course. It was a fun time.
Shon and I decided to dare the Salmon river. It didn't look so bad way up from the road, but it was actually quite the raging river. There were class 2 and 3 rapids that were really fun! Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa for the shuttling and babysitting.
It took a few tries to get the balance and steering right, but then we didn't do so bad! It was a rough ride in some parts, and our "ocean" kayak did alright! We only got tipped over 3 times. :)

We had so much fun taking a bath in Grandma Conover's sink. Cody loves the water, and Grandma!

The drive back home was so long, but actually really pretty. We stopped to stretch and take in the scenery.
We missed out turn at one point, but the small detour was worth it. A picture doesn't really do it justice!

Cody was a trooper. I don't even remember how long we drove for, 16, 17, 18 hours. But now and then I'd look back at him in his car seat and catch a big smile. He is such a happy boy!

Now that we're home....

He's back into mischief and fun like normal, only much more mobile! Cody now rolls everywhere, but he almost can crawl. He does this bellyflop lunge sort of crawl that gets him around pretty quick. He has also mastered going from stomache back into a sitting position, and he can almost stand up on things. But, this picture shows how he loves getting stuck in random places and under furniture.

Cody also loves shoes. He will crawl and maneuver over anything to get to them. When he makes it into the closet he acts like he's in heaven! It's not so bad, except when he sticks them into his mouth, which is what he does with everything he picks up!
