Happy Birthday Nathan!

Has is really been a year since this little angel came into my our world? Happy Birthday Nathan! Here is a peek into our day with the birthday boy:)

The Birthday Cake

I've learned not to actually make a cake for my littles....they like cupcakes much better. But one of Nathan's favorite foods are sweet potatoes, and I have a yummy sweet potato muffin recipe so we went with that this year! He was very happy:)
He picked up the whole muffin and shoved it into his mouth like a pro!

Opening Presents

Yeah, we ate cake first, then did the presents!
Started out sitting in his chair, opening presents by himself....and that lasted a whole 15 seconds!
Then, of course, he had all kinds of help.
And more help:) Such loving siblings
He was so serious about the whole thing!
He was loving all the attention and new toys. (New to him, anyway:)

And it got a bit overwhelming, so he ran to Daddy for some refuge and support!
Daddy and Nathan have become great buddies
Cody was able to pass on some of his trucks and cars and that was so much fun to him!

Thanks Grandma Fuhriman...SO CUTE!

Thanks Anglins! Cars and books really hit the spot!

Grandma Fuhriman and Hamiltons..thanks for the fun books!

Time out for some snuggles and wrestling...

Nathan is SO playful and fun. His smile is contagious!

Nothing beats the snuggle spot, though.

Totally into reading

So many new fun books!!! Thanks, Dad, for reading to us!

One of his favorite things to do is push cars all over the place....this kid cruises!

What's up?

Checking out the neighborhood

Just can't get much cuter. He decided to take his first steps 3 days before his birthday. Go Nathan!
Then the rain came down and the kids were mesmerized! Gotta love North Carolina!

Happy Birthday Nathan...it was a lot of fun
