October Highlights!

We were blessed to go home and visit family for 3 weeks! We really had a good time. We kept pretty busy and loved seeing so much family. We took lots of pics, and I know Grandma's and Grandpa's probably have more cute ones to add, but I just snagged a few to highlight some of the fun things we did. Thanks, everyone, for letting us crash at your houses and play with you. We love and miss you all so much. Just let us know if you ever want to come back east! :)
Cody was SO ready to fly on a plane. He thought it was so cool. He was good most of the time, too. (Kali was a different story). I'll never forget how excited he got the very first take-off. He kept screaming...we're flying! We're flying! I so excited! Then he was sure that the white stuff out the window was snow, not clouds. And by the fourth flight, he figured out how the houses and cars shrunk. He'd say, "there's a little car, and another little house...)
Checking out the airplanes!
Cody snuggling with the gals.
Grandpa and Cody making rock waterfalls.
Fun reading books with Grandma. Go Grandma Go!
We had fun feeding the ducks, and were glad there was still some warm weather left in Idaho! Kali just taking it all in!
Cody was pretending to fly like the birds
Kali loves pointing at things and saying, "look!"
Grandma and Kali
Cody made certain Kali wouldn't fall off that rock!
Reed's Dairy and the cows. Kali and Cody both think cows are cool, but now Cody is positive they are pretty stinky too.
Playing in the leaves....endless fun!
Kali camping out at the fire.
Picking and eating apples with cousins!
Fun and memorable moments...like getting your head stuck in the banister. It was actually a little tricky getting him out of this one! Kali just thought it was really funny, but Cody was quite concerned!
Fun at the pumpkin patch!
Cody and Sarah climbed to the top of the pile and took a break to finish their suckers
The train ride was a hit (had to ride it twice!)
Cody picking his pumpkin, (even though we weren't getting one!)

  1. I had to laugh about Cody getting his head stuck in the bannister. Even though it probably wasn't funny at the time, I feel good about laughing now. He looks so nervous!!
