Shon finally tried out his climbing harness on Cody and they had a lot of fun. We ate dinner in the park for FHE and played and had a good time. Cody got hooked up to a modified zip line and thought that was pretty exciting. 
This is actually the same park, but a different day...We are so excited to have grandma come and stay with us!!! Last Sat. night we went to a "movie under the stars" that the city sponsors about 4 times during the summer. They set up this huge blow-up movie screen and play a show. There was free popcorn all night long and a free soda. We, of course, went in style. We brought the love sacs, blankets, chairs and slide. So, Cody went up and down the slide while we enjoyed the show and everyone was happy. Of course it was nice having grandma's extra hand to walk Cody around now and then as he got restless! Thanks Grandma! 
They also had fun blow-up toys to play on and Cody loved them.
It's pretty cool that the city does this!

It reminded me of the 4th of July for some reason:) Hanging out, waiting for fireworks to start, only we were waiting for the movie instead. We told mom, since it was the night she arrived, that the party was for her!

ReplyDeleteWe piled all the fun into the jeep and put the slide on top! (we had to take two cars to fit the passengers) And the movie was Star Trek.
